The Opportunity:
A Grounds Maintenance Operative with a passion for gardening is required to join a Grounds Maintenance team, maintaining both domestic and commercial sites to a high standard.
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, your responsibilities will include the following:
* Grass mowing using rear rollers.
* Lawn care
* Hedge Cutting
* Pruning
* Strimming
* Planting
* Watering
* Weeding
* Mulching
* Litter Picking
* Pest and Disease control
* Weekly checks on both tools and vehicle
* Weekly Health and Safety reports
We are looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative who has the following skills and experiences:
* A full clean UK Driving License is essential
* The successful applicant will have a minimum of 2 years’ garden maintenance experience.
* A minimum of Level 2 in horticulture is preferred.
* Good plant knowledge, experience using tools and machinery used in garden maintenance.
* PA1/PA6 qualifications are preferred.
The Offer:
In addition to a competitive £26,500 – £28,000 salary, our client will also provide continuous training, industry specific courses and a career path development structure are provided for employees who wish to progress within the company. A company vehicle is provided for onsite use but is not to be used for commuting to and from work.
