Graduate Trainee Investment Consultant
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £28000 – £34000/annum plus generous benefits package
Due to continuing growth my client, a well respected name in the institutional market place, currently seeks an enthusiastic Graduate to join their Institutional Investment team in their Kent / London practice. Duties will include:
* Performing Investment and Fund Manager research and analysis
* Setting up Asset Liability Models for clients to help understand risk
* Preparing client monitoring reports
* Attending client meetings to help in the delivery of advice
* Assisting with asset transitions across managers and funds
* Working towards managing your own portfolio of clients
Applicants will be degree educated in a Science or Business based subject having secured a 2:1 or above and have a keen interest in the investment industry. Progress towards the CFA or Actuarial exams is would be advantageous along with some exposure / experience in the investment industry although these are not pre-requisites for the right candidate. A strong mix of communication, analytical and data skills are a essential for this role along with a positive demeanour and outlook.
