General Operative – Water Treatment

A site near Carlisle in Cumbria require a General Operative to support them with their water treatment plant, specifically dealing with freshwater.
As a Freshwater Operative, you will play a crucial role in the efforts to monitor, maintain, and improve freshwater ecosystems. You will work in a dynamic and collaborative team environment, carrying out various tasks related to freshwater.
No experience required, full training given.
The job:
Conducting water quality testing and analysis.
Monitoring aquatic habitats and ecosystems.
Assisting in the implementation of habitat restoration projects.
Collecting and recording data on freshwater species and biodiversity.
Operating and maintaining equipment used in freshwater conservation efforts.
Ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.We are looking for someone who has the willingness and desire, with a 'can do' attitude for supporting the whole water treatment site, along with colleagues.
Salary from £23,000 per annum.
Full time role.
Monday to Friday with overtime available.
On-call required one weekend per month, however paid generously.
Candidate would need their own car, due to the location of the site.
