Fork Lift Truck Driver
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £39000/annum
Reporting to: Site Manager
Overall Purpose: To support the efficiency of both the production lines and transport division by efficiently loading and unloading materials (both incoming and outgoing)
Main duties and responsibilities
* Transporting goods and pallets around the factory
* Loading and unloading materials from a variety of vehicles
* Moving pallet-packed materials around the site or storage facility
* Checking loads are secure
* Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance
* Following written instructions and keeping records
* Adhering to health and safety regulations
* Completing physical tasks quickly and accurately
Skills, knowledge and Qualifications:
* Previous Counter balance experience essential
* Must hold an indate valid accredited Counter balance licence.
* Level 2 NVQ in construction plant operations
* Able to work as part of a team effectively
* Undertand and adhere to all Health & Safety procedures
* Able to make decisions and communicate them to colleagues
Hours & Renumeration
* 12 hour shifts
* 5 days a week
* Shift rota from Monday to Sunday
* Renumeration from £39k per year
* Paid overtime
