The company has an opportunity for a Flexographic Printer of our Reflex Flexibles site in Leicester.

Roles and Responsibilities

Ensure Quality and Hygiene standard requirements are met and maintained at Reflex Flexibles Ltd
Meet SEDEX & ETI requirements.
Ensure your own actions reduce risks of Health and Safety within the company.
To comply with all Environmental Requirements.
To assist in training for Trainees.
To manage and maintain all working practices documented in the ‘Company Handbook’
To work professionally with the resources provided by Reflex Flexible.
Develop productive working relationships within your team & other members of the department.
To manage your own and assist with other teams’ resources.
To assist in meeting departmental objectives
To provide cover for holidays / absence as and when possible, making sure company procedures/protocol is adhered to in their absence.
To communicate with Print Management / Maintenance regarding breakdowns/repairs/provisions etc.

Tasks

To ensure all printing tasks are carried out to high standards and that the standards are maintained. To train, motivate and develop Print staff and trainees as a successful team.
To operate and maintain production speeds on your shift and setting times to targets and record / report in areas where this is not possible.
To work constantly towards production improvements in methods and training etc., to eliminate potential quality problems and reduce downtime.
To collate production figures are accurately recorded including scrap for the purpose of Key Performance Indicators.
To liaise with the Print Manager to achieve best possible machine utilisation with minimum wastage, while ensuring excellent quality, at best possible delivery dates.
Work as part of a team supporting colleagues and sharing information.
To follow all aspects of Quality Control and Quality Assurance in the Print Department and ensure accurate records are maintained. To include following of all procedures by your team.
To evaluate and review print equipment, liaise with the Printers and Print Manager as required.
To ensure your team work and maintain safe working systems to ensure personnel are kept free from injury and operations are safe and efficient.
Ensure collaborative working within the Print Department via good communication.

Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Double Day Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm/2:00pm-10:00pm
Salary: Dependant on Experience
