Position: Flexographic Printer (Water Based Inks)
Salary: £28,000.00
Hours of work: 36 hours per week, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 6 am – 6 pm.

The company has an opportunity for a Flexographic Printer of our Reflex Labels Ltd site in Barwell.
Roles and Responsibilities
The role encompasses the operation of flexo-printing presses, ensuring that designs are printed within a target time frame and to the customer's specification. The successful candidate will be required to:
Co-ordinate and manage the safe operation of the Press.
Have excellent attention to detail
Read and complete paperwork that specify the job requirements
Ensure BRC, Quality and Hygiene requirements are met and maintained
Ensure your own actions reduce risks of Health and Safety within the company
To manage and maintain all working practices documented in the ‘Company Handbook’
Develop productive working relationships within the team & assist with training where required
To provide cover for holidays / absence as and when possible
To communicate with Management regarding breakdowns/repairs/provisions etc.
Tasks
To ensure all printing tasks are carried out to a high standard
To assist with Pre Press activities where required
To train, motivate and develop trainees
To operate at and maintain production speeds whilst on shift and report back when this is not possible.
Work with Management to identify production and process improvements which will help to eliminate quality problems and reduce downtime.
To collate production figures are accurately report against Key Performance Indicators including run speed and waste
To follow all aspects of Quality Control and Quality Assurance and ensure accurate records are maintained
To evaluate and review print equipment and liaise with Management as required
Ensure all team members maintain safe working systems
Ensure collaborative working within the department is maintained
