Finance Project Accountant
Job Type : Contract, Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £38000 – £45000/annum
Our client is a fast growing business who is going through an exciting time and looking for a new person due to restructuring to join the finance team of 10.
The role reports directly to the Head of Finance, offers excellent benefits including hybrid working and study support.
* Approving high value project POs
* Setting up new project budgets
* Providing backup project budget approval
* Policing the use of the budgeting software to ensure best practice
* Continuing to develop the project budgeting software for maximum efficiency across the business
* Working with the operational teams to prepare and finalise quarterly project gross profit reconciliations, to include analysing margins and reviewing project financial success.
* Monthly monitoring of overhead budgets and YTD spend, flagging any anomalies to the Senior Group Management Accountant
* To support with the implementation of all new internal systems, processes & controls
* To work closely with the Operations Director to develop the CRM system (Salesforce), to include; – Policing data accuracy
* Setting annual sales targets up within the system
* Redesigning dashboards and reports
* Integration with other internal systems
* Managing a direct report
