Finance Manager
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £35000 – £40000/annum
Are you manufacturing through and through with a keen eye and enjoyment for policing the system? JR are really pleased to be recruiting a Finance Manager to join an industrial business due to a restructure of the department. Despite recent events, the business continues to thrive and you would be instramental in ensuring they are future proof.
This role moves away from traditional accounting and focusses on the technical; delivering active data, budgetting and forecasting and cost control. A standalone position, this does have the potential to grow with an excellent development programme in place.
Responsibilities:
* Weekly Variance/Performance Reporting
* Controls performances at industrial/manufacturing level
* Guarantees industrial real cost control action plans
* Communicate with internal stakeholders to gather relevant budget information
* Controls proper distribution of overheads
* Analyses manufacturing engineering continuous improvement business cases
Key skills:
* CIMA/ACCA studier/qualified preferred
* Strong analytical skills
* SAP experience is essential
* Advanced excel skills
* Strong communicator with the ability to go out and build relationships away from desk
* Self sufficient
The business have successfully navigated through the last couple of months with only organic change and enabled a large percentage of the workforce to work from home.
This role will be office based but will have the opportunity to work from home a day a week.
They are looking to move quickly and onboard with a thorough handover.
