Hays are currently working exclusively with a fast-paced and dynamic business based in Norwich to appoint a Finance Director who can support their ambitious growth plans. This company has already had success on an international level and are looking to double in the next 3 years. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of that project.
Your new role
You will be solely responsible for leading the finance function from top to bottom and be integral in developing financial strategy for short, medium and long term goals. You will be tasked with the development of the finance team and ensuring that they are resourced appropriately for their expansion. Specifically, you will be tasked with:

Design and deliver the strategic financial growth model
Partnering with the various department heads to drive growth and ensure financial targets are met.
Understand the daily, weekly and monthly cash position
Cashflow management, budgeting and forecasting
Raising capital and overseeing all capital expenditure
Support the sales team in procurement processes for new business ventures
Oversee the production of MI for senior leadership
Oversee and manage the finance team, looking to grow where appropriate
Support HR processes where necessary

This is a full-time job working Monday to Friday and is classed as an office-based role. However, they do operate a 1 day a week flexible hybrid working policy.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant and have a proven track record in strong cash management and strategic growth planning. You will be a team-player and be happy to be 'hands-on' when necessary. Ideally, you would have been involved in procurement processes and tenders for new customer bids. This role would suit someone looking to make a step up from FC level with a highly commercial focus.
