Due to continuous expansion, we are currently seeking a skilled field service engineer to perform tasks such as fault diagnosis, annual servicing, and maintenance of heavy material handling machinery. Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer:
servicing and maintaining new recycling machinery
Conduct routine breakdown and repairs and maintenance work, to Automated Material Handling Equipment and Systems
Carrying out fault finds on hydraulic systems and electrical systems.
Identifying and resolving electrical or mechanical faults
Reactive maintenance tasks
Providing on-location support and service
Acting as a crucial representative of the company to ensure consistent and reliable customer experiences.
Qualifications for the Field Service Engineer:
Preferred Electrical Qualifications – NVQ Level 3 / Diploma or City & Guilds
Strong proficiency in fault diagnosis
Must be able to test and repair heavy plant machinery.
Background in either mechanical or electrical engineering
Previous experience in servicing, maintaining, or installing machinery.
Proficiency in working with various types of plant machinery.
Willingness to travel.
