Our client based in the outskirts of Lincoln are looking for a Farm Manager to join their team
It is a brilliant opportunity for someone in the poultry industry looking for their next step.
As a “Broiler Breeder Rearing Farm Manager”, you will normally work with your birds in 2 or 3 flock periods approximately 10 months of the year in total, you will be expected to organise farm administration, work equipment, and monitor site contractors at all times.
The role will include:
* Be mindful of material usage and farm performance to maintain your farms
* progress against target parameters such as breed and business goals.
* Undertake practical activities, operating machinery/equipment, feeding birds
* and maintaining the external areas of the farm.
* Work closely with the senior management team to communicate needs to
* maximize the quality of the birds from your flock.
* Order supplies such as feed, bedding, and consumables etc.
* Organise the maintenance and repair of farm buildings, machinery and
* equipment.
Experience in the same role or similar is essential.
Hours between 5am-7am start – 3/4pm finish. 40-60 basic hours a week over up to 7 days a week.
Basic Salary is £34,603 per year.
