Working on various projects, including groundworks packages up to 2million in value.

Role Description
Due to an increase in tenders and project awards, my client is looking to recruit an estimator to work in the pre-construction division.
Your background could be Site Agent, Project Manager, Contracts Manager, Bid Manager, Project Engineer, so long as you have a solid commercial background. This role would get you into an office 1 day a week in central London and 4 days remote working from home.
Projects ranging from £500k – £4 million.
Day to day duties include but are not limited to:-
Calculate and prepare tender submissions that provide optimal value solutions for tenders at least cost.
Determine the quantity of work scope to produce accurate and realistic estimates for works from 1st principles.
Selecting and vetting sub-contractors
Developing relationships with supply chain partners
Take part in handover meetings of successful tenders to the construction team
Provide cost, budget and pricing schedules to the Head of Estimating
Provide estimates to Project Managers for contract variations and claims
Required Experience
You must have experience in Estimating with approximately 2/3 years as a minimum. Also, a qualification is required to support your application. Ideally, an Engineering degree but an HNC / HND will also be suitable.
