Our client an established engineering firm is seeking an Engineering Buyer to join them in a permanent full time role, no remote working available.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to develop their skills and purchase items for the whole business.

The Engineering Buyer will assist with the purchasing and procurement of the components required to build the company’s products.
Some knowledge of engineering parts would be desirable e.g. sheet metal, engineering parts
Skills and experience required:
* Some technical knowledge of engineering parts/materials e.g. stainless steel, plastic, seals, bearings would be desirable
* Able to read and understand technical drawings
* Commercially aware with an understanding and ability to source components from various sources and negotiate prices and lead times
* Good IT skills – Word, Excel
* Good organisational and negotiation skills
