An award winning, specialist engineering and manufacturing company, are now keen to appoint an experienced draughtsperson.
Most of the customers are chemical, water and pharmaceutical based and provide, in some circumstances, a cradle to grave service which includes steelwork, vessel / storage tank and pipework design, manufacture and installation.
THE ROLE
The role will entail producing general arrangement drawings for customer approval, fabrication drawings of vessel / storage tanks, pipework layouts using Cadworx software and the construction of 3D site layout models.
You must be confident and capable of taking a project from the information supplied at the initial order placement (quotation and data sheets etc), working with design engineers to produce a GA drawing for customer approval, dealing with the client and shop floor directly to solve any problems and to produce detailed fabrication drawings to suit the client approved design.
ESSENTIAL – Skills, Knowledge, Experience
* Autocad 2D & 3D
* Inventor and Cadworx ideal but not essential
* Full clean driving licence.
* Vessels
* Pipework
* Steelwork
