About the role
Do you want to use your digital skills to inspire people to support an amazing cause?
In challenging times Variety provides immediate, practical help to disabled and disadvantaged children, plus their parents and families. Now we’re looking to fill a key role – Digital and Communications Manager.
If you’re a digital all-rounder with an eye on strategy development, then this role might be for you. You’ll be an experienced marketeer, able to oversee all our digital channels and be hands-on enough to take our website to the next level. You will be happy developing content and working with internal teams to coordinate and promote their activities. You will also be confident managing our social media channels, analysing response and line-managing a PR and Communications Officer.
As part of a small, friendly team you’ll work with all sorts of people. You’ll need to build relationships with colleagues in our fundraising and programmes teams, volunteers, trustees and external agencies. It’s a really varied role and one that will demand your best time management and organisational skills, plus attention to detail.
In return we offer a supportive and positive working environment, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, a generous pension scheme and a health and well-being cash plan scheme.
If you believe that you can make a difference in this role then we’d love to hear from you.
