We are a Media and Publishing software consultancy company based in London seeking an ambitious and hard-working System Administrator Intern to join our client-focussed IMS team as a permanent member of staff.

The successful Intern will work alongside a small team of System Administrators, supporting Software Developers, QA’s, PM’s, and BA’s delivering business-critical solutions to globally recognised brands.
Providing support for both development and hosted client environments, you will ensure the successful delivery of contract-managed services to customers with 24/7 SLA’s. This will entail supporting, maintaining and monitoring hardware systems, applications, networks, and related databases.
Main Tasks:
* Maintain existing infrastructure, ensuring SLA’s are met.
* Client Support (tickets/service requests)
* Internal Support (email/passwords/managing accounts etc)
* On-call Rotation
Main Skills Required:
* Familiarity with Linux and UNIX systems
* Network routing and Load balancing
* Experience with a scripting language (Bash, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Python)
* Any Cloud Hosting experience (AWS/Google Compute/Rackspace).
* Networking protocols, a base knowledge of TCP/IP, with an understanding of HTTP and DNS.
* Any web hosting experience
