Do you want to work for a company who is invested in their staff, where people are at the heart of their business? Pertemps are currently seeking a dynamic Design Manager for their ever- expanding retail client based in their busy Head Office in Plymouth.
As the Design Manager, you will be responsible for managing a large design team, working alongside a marketing team and photographic studio delivering design concepts and managing artwork production for all consumer facing channels. As the Design Manager, you'd be a confident and enthusiastic person with experience in the creative sector and a passion to work with home, leisure and garden products.
The successful Design Manager will be:
Taking the lead on delivering new creative concepts for the company
Managing the design department and assigning work to match the needs of the business
Working closely with supporting departments such Buying/Retail/Marketing/Photo Studio
Owning and delivering brands with supporting guidelines
Liaising with key stakeholders throughout the business and presenting design ideas and concepts
Knowledge and Skills required to be the Design Manager:
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a design management role
Full Knowledge of adobe suite
Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with accountability for delivering campaigns on time
Exceptional presentation skills
Proven experience in project management with an ability to manage a large workload
The ability to analyse and adapt creative based on new trends
Experience registering brands and dealing with trademarks
Adopts a flexible/can do approach and is highly resilient and results focused
Excellent communication, influencing and negotiating skills
Experience working with external agencies and suppliers
Degree level education or equivalent
Hours are full time- Mon-Fri 8:45am – 5:30pm, located in Derriford, Plymouth. competitive salary to be discussed on application.
Temporary to Permanent.
