The Role:

Working as part of the delivery team you will be responsible for coordinating the handover process of open spaces from housing developers. Therefore, previous experience or understanding of the housing market from a legal and planning aspect would be desirable.  The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a pro-active and creative approach for what will be a demanding and diverse role.

Duties:

Coordinate the smooth delivery of all aspects of the development handover process.

Liaise with the on-site delivery team members to ensure a coordinated and efficient approach is achieved.

Ensure all required information is up to date and received from the sales team in order to progress the delivery of the development.

Monitor the progress of information from the sales team via their CRM system to ensure the information is correct and relevant.

Communicate with housing developers to obtain essential information and certification from their various departments.

Establish a good relationship with developers to ensure the transfer of information can be achieved and targets met timeously.

Review legal and planning documentation when necessary to ensure the correct information has been provided.

Liaise both internally with our legal department, and if required externally with the developer’s legal counsel, for any outstanding queries relating to the legal handover of new developments not previously clarified in the site handover requirements.

Ensure the development progression monitoring system is managed and updated to reflect progress.

Provide the billing & operations teams with all required information to facilitate the progression of developments to long term management and maintenance.

Liaise with IT department regarding system requirements and alterations to develop and enhance the current systems.

Support the Green Space Development Director (UK) with regards to all aspects of Delivery.

Additional Duties:

Oversee the day-to-day activity of the Delivery Team’s Administrator to ensure all aspects of their post is delivered.

To provide regular progress reports as and when required.

To undertake any other reasonable duties assigned by your line manager.

Some travel and overnight stays may be required if deemed necessary.

Skills & Experience:

Ability to self-manage but also work as a team player to achieve departmental targets.

Forward thinking and creative ability is vital to develop and improve our handover process.

A problem-solving, adaptable attitude is key in order to manage the diverse range of handover requirements each development brings.

Excellent communicator, both internally with all colleagues and externally with house builders, local planning & water authorities etc.

Competent in the use of all IT Office packages is essential.

Previous experience or understanding of the housing market from a legal and planning aspect would be desirable.

Experience in CRM system usage (Copper) would be advantageous.

Experience in the use of AutoCAD or Adobe Illustrator or other design software would be favourable.
