Working as part of a team, you will oversee compliance for the business ensuring regulatory compliance, reducing risk for the business and its customers, the role will encopass a range of duties dealing with areas such as data, safeguarding and licensing.

Role
Responsible for the regulatory, business and data compliance of the organisation,
* Work with the business to drive delivery of activity that supports the business objectives, whilst ensuring adherence to group policies.
* Manage data controller and processor architecture including DSARs, DPIAs and DSAs
* Safeguarding
* Work with the senior management team to ensure advice and guidance is interpreted and implemented in line with group risk appetite
* Report on relevant information and recommendations relating to compliance and risk on monthly basis
* Support with drafting licensing applications/ renewals including specific conditions as determined by licensing authority
* Support with all data security/ GDPR matters including data subject requests, staff training & data sharing agreements with external partners
* Responsibility for property and IP tracking
* Safeguarding / protection
* Compliance Auditing
* Timely escalation of issues to the Compliance Manager.
* Ensure the business controls are effective and take action to improve where necessary
* Ensure regulatory reporting is completed, accurate and submitted in a timely manner
Person Specification
* Experienced in governance, risk and compliance related activities
* Proven track record of delivery in similar role
* Ability and appetite to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
* Understanding and familiarity of risk and compliance in a wide range of business situations
* Experience of audit
* Experience of developing policies and process to ensure compliance and reduce risk
