Classic Car Technician
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000 – £37000/annum
Our client is renowned Heritage Vehicle Restoration Company predominantly working with Pre-War Riley’s and MG’s; however they also work on various other Classic Cars. Currently they are looking to recruit an experienced Classic Car Technician. Successful candidates must have a minimum of 5 years experience working on Classic Cars or in a vehicle Restoration environment.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Maintaining vehicles, carrying out routine maintenance and repair
* Engine rebuilds on Pre/Post War Engines
* Vehicle clean builds/Restoration
* Mechanical and electrical repairs
* Welding/Fabricating
* Race and Rally preparation
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of working with Classic Cars or Vehicle Restoration
* Possess a valid driving license
* Strong mechanical and electrical experience
* Excellent attention to detail
* Able to work towards stringent deadlines
* Competent with engine building
Experience – Desirable but not essential:
* Formal qualifications i.e. City & Guilds or equivalent
* Experience of engineering machining and fabrication
* Welding experience
* Experience working with Pre-War Vehicles
