KJB Recruitment are seeking a passionate and talented Sous Chef looking to join a dynamic and thriving team for our client in Hereford.

Job Description:

As a Sous Chef you will play a pivotal role in our clients kitchen's operations. You will work closely with the Head Chef to create and execute a diverse menu.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting the Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and food costing.

Overseeing and coordinating the daily preparation of high-quality dishes.

*

Supervising and training the kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to strict food safety and hygiene standards.

*

Maintaining inventory levels, conducting stock checks, and placing orders as needed.

*

Monitoring and optimising kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and minimise waste.

*

Collaborating with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills:

*

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role, preferably in a high-end restaurant environment.

*

Exceptional organisational and leadership abilities.

*

Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.

*

Creativity and passion for culinary excellence.

*

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
