Salary : £30000 – £35000/annum

Are you a Chef De Partie or Sous Chef with events experience? Are you looking for an exciting full time and permanent position with a family run business, working for an independent company run by a Chef and his team covering events held at luxury hotels and stately homes?

Role
• Chef De Partie or Sous Chef
• Full time and permanent contract
• Tuesday to Saturday (5 days per week)
• Day shifts typically starting at 0800/0830
• 45 hours per week
• Based in Kettering, Northamptonshire
• Working with a team of events staff and c.12 Chefs

Salary
The salary is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications, we are looking at c.£35k based on 45 hours per week plus overtime when required.

Candidate requirements
• Must have large event experience, catering for anything up to 1000 guests
• Should have a minimum 5 years Chef experience, be innovative and up to date with food trends
• Will be calm under pressure, have a passion for presentation, be a team player and willing to get stuck in where required
• Must be a driver with a clean licence (or no more than 6 points) and have access to a reliable vehicle as there will be a lot of travel involved with this role
• Shall come from a large hotel or events background, some of the events will require a sit down meal for up to 1000 guests
• Can provide employment history, references and proof of in date L2 or higher in Food Safety
• Should be physically fit and willing to support the events team with any heavy lifting
