Salary : £13/hour
We are looking for an Experienced Chef to join the team on a temporary to perm basis. The successful applicant must have experience in cooking and preparing meals for a large number of people and must also be able to work well in a team as well as independently. Previous Care Home experience is advantageous. We would be happy to look at a Head Chef, for the right applicant.
Job role is for 5 shifts per week, 10 hours per day, £13 per hour.
We are hiring on behalf of a well established residential care home with a friendly home feel, they are looking for an experienced chef capable of the below,this is an immediate start for the successful applicant.
The location of the home is in the middle of Ipswich, very easy to commute to.
The Role:
* Develop and maintain menus which are varied and appropriate
* Cater to a wide range of dietary needs
* Support with the ordering and stock taking of groceries
* Maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the kitchen
* Keep on top of relevant record keeping in line with policy and procedure
