Trust Location: East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust

Location: Lister Hospital, Coreys Mill Lane, Stevenage, SG1 4AB

Shift Pattern: Monday- Sunday (5 days out of 7) 7:30am- 3:30pm or 10am-6pm

Pay: £12.86, plus enhanced pay for weekends and bank holidays

About the Trust:

East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust provide services to the local community to around 500,000 people, with the regional cancer centre supporting around 2 million people. They provide care to the community with an annual budget of around £350 million and more than 5,000 staff.

What you’ll be responsible for:

* Planning meals and menus.

* Preparing food.

* Using kitchen equipment such as mixers.

* Storing food correctly.

* Making sure as little as possible is wasted.

* Supervising kitchen assistants.

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

You’ll have the following skills/experience:

* Excellent customer service

* Needs to be physically fit

* Level 2 Food Safety certificate

* Awareness of food hygiene and food safety

* HACCP food safety trained.
