Our client, a highly successful and industry leader in the testing and certification of Electronic Fire Detection Security products, is expanding its existing team.
This role also comes with extensive on the job training and future development opportunities where you could lead a small team. It's a flexi-hybrid position, so the expectation would be to collaborate on site 1-2 days per week at their offices in Watford, with other days being able to work from home.
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Certification Project Manager to manage the certification and approval of EU, International and CE standards of electronic products.
As a Certification Project Manager, you will ideally come from a background in product certification of electronic products or mechanical products with the ability to understand the fundamentals of electronic equipment..
Key Points;
* Previous experience working for a certification body conducting technical evaluations, compiling test programmes through to sign off approvals is highly desirable
* Electronics or mechanical engineers with experience of working to CE, EU, UKAS or International standards of some kind either in a certification, compliance or accreditation's capacity.
* Educated to HNC level and above in a relevant electronic, mechanical or engineering qualification.
* A proficient leader able to design and communicate an efficient testing process, acting as the liaison between clients and the testing team.
* Have high attention to detail and report writing.
