The Associates are looking for a Business Systems Analyst who has a great appreciation for the Media, arts and data world and who wants to work across a whole business including C-Level stakeholders.
The purpose of the role is to analyse, document and propose solutions for business areas and to prepare functional specifications to ensure delivery of solution(s) in line with the business success criteria. We are looking for a business Analyst who has developed there technical ability to move to Business Systems Analyst rather than a technologist who has moved to being a Business Analyst

Department Overview
You will be joining a team of 7 (Business Analysts, Analysis Lead and other Business Systems Analysts) within the client under the CIO department and you will have a major role in the future of strategic change in the
business. You will report to the Technical Lead in Analysis and design
who has over 15 years of experience in leading and mentoring teams in
enterprise organisations.
The role will require you to be a pro active contributor as there is no
micromanagement and you will be facing off to all levels of the business
including C Level. The team do get together fairly regularly to share
knowledge and celebrate wins.

As the Business systems Analyst you will;
• Collect, understand, and effectively communicate the business requirements for a project(s), and work with the test team to translate these into functional specifications and detailed test plans. (You will use techniques that could include UML, SWOT, Function / non functional requirements gathering)
• Analyse and document business processes e.g. BPM
• Document workflows and results of business analysis
• Provide the link between the customer, development team and any third party regarding business requirements and software functionality, throughout the development lifecycle
• To design and execute the User acceptance test scenarios and User acceptance test scripts
• Day to day management of change requests in relation to the project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are met
• Weekly reports to be produced for the relevant Manager(s) showing progress against outstanding milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies
• Not essential but a real benefit would be an ability to run SQL
extracts as well as Excel manipulation by using PowerPivot.
• Additional information and not a requirement for the role. The company uses cloud based Oracle systems and do have some SQL Databases dotted around. This is hosted in Azure. They use Mulesoft for integration.

The Business Systems Analyst will need to show;
• Evidence of analysing and documenting complex business, Systems and Data processes
• Experience of writing requirements specifications for Information Systems
• In depth understanding of the principles, methods, techniques and tools of change process management and their relationship to project management and business improvement
• Good understanding of systems and ability to assimilate and interpret advice from technical specialists
• A sound understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Waterfall experience will be required to be successful in the role.
