Business Development Manager (Tech)- Reading- 12 Months- £48,000-£52,000
A global technology company are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team on an initial 12 month assignment.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Sales Execution
· Accountable to drive new customer acquisition, incremental customer revenue and success through partner impact
· Establish relationships with relevant account manager within each target partner account
· Regular forecasting sales performance
· Pre- sales/ Post- sales Escalation Management
· Drive sales floor activity where relevant to deliver short term uplifts in sales
Enablement:
· Continually enable & ready partner sales teams to maintain high level of competency
· Use insight and data to help partners identify whitespace market opportunities
· Analyse existing customer data to identify and unlock opportunities
· Ensure target partners have access to, and are using marketing assets
· Act as the primary SME contact within nominated partners
Opportunity Management:
· Track target accounts with each partner and maintain a pipeline of deal registration opportunities with status updates
· Recurrent reporting of status, blockers and successes
Skills/ Experience:
· 3+ years experience in a similar role
· Experience with core sales, channel sales, SMB and scale model experience and/or business development
· Experience with market and business performance analytics
· Strong communication and collaboration skills
· Experience within the technology sector
