A brilliant opportunity has come up to work with a fantastic corrugated packaging company that works in the Retail, FMCG, Ecommerce, 3PL Pharma and Automotive industries. The company has been running for 50+ years as a merchant and are now seeking a Business Development Manager who is looking to further their career and help with the continuous growth of the company.

£40,000 to £47,000, DOE, plus benefits package

This role will include some office work, but with travel due to the nature of the role. The role is now available due to an increase in workload and growth. They are now actively looking to recruit a Business Development Manager who is driven and is looking for progression.
Your day-to-day duties will be based around business development creating new opportunities for the company to increase their clientele. Your role includes dealing with new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, services prospection, negotiation and commercial follow up of UK customers and branching out further afield acting in the markets targeted by the organisation. You will play an active part in the development of the sales budget, monitor revenue and margins, promote the image of the company and you will continue with the improvement of the initiatives of the company.
They are looking to recruit the successful candidate immediately; however, you must have or hold:
A minimum of 3-6 years+ experience in the following packaging solutions including: Cartons,Boxes, Postal, Bags, Tubing, Tapes, Stretch Wrap, Labelling, Warehouse and much more
Have a great understanding of the UK market
You must be happy developing new business opportunities and building on your successes.
A sense of business relationships and customer service
High interest in the technical dimension of the products
You must come from a packaging background and have experience in sales
