Reporting to: Engineering Manager
Sychem is a leading UK provider of Steelco equipment as well as providing a range of our own Sychem manufactured products for use in the healthcare, biomedical, lab and pharmaceutical sectors to name a few. Sychem was founded in 1982, and operates from its UK based headquarters in Southampton, Hampshire.
We have an excellent opportunity to join our growing team of Engineers. We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals who are interested in growing their career within our company. The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own and apart of the team, be forward thinking and organised to complete jobs within specific time frames.
Accountabilities:
* Autoclave Service and validation in Hospital and Laboratory environment
* Washer Service and validation in Hospital and Laboratory environment
* Breakdown cover for washers and autoclave
* Carry out work on Sychem equipment
* Customer support
* Promote Sychem and their available products/services
* Installation of Sychem equipment
* Commissioning of all Sychem equipment
Essential Requirements/Experience:
* Working industry knowledge of Autoclaves and Washers – HTM
* Electrical or Mechanical Training
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Good working knowledge of TQ soft and IP reports
Desirable Knowledge:
* STM1, STM2, STM3
* WTM1, WTM2, WTM3
* HTM
* Working knowledge of endoscope drying/storage cabinets
* Electrical or instrumentation qualification
