Role
My client is on a critical mission to digitise, democratise and scale the energy derivative space. They are looking for a highly motivated and creative mind to join their Media Team as an Assistant Producer. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in financial markets & economics, along with experience within content creation. This role involves developing compelling content that engages their audience, enhances brand image & drives lead generation.
Responsibilities
* Oversee running of weekly podcast & other studio recordings (podcast, social media explainers & weekly market wraps
* Edit & publish podcast & social media / website content
* Organise occasional offsite location filming
* Develop & manage content for social media platforms, website, email marketing & other promotional channels
* Collaborate with marketing & sales teams to create material that supports business objectives & new releases
* Help monitor & report on content performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
* Stay ahead of market trends, regulations & industry news to ensure content relevance
* Update the weekly video noticeboard on office TVs with updates from various departments
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in finance, journalism, marketing or related field
* Demonstrated interest or understanding of financial markets & economics
* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment & meet tight deadlines
* Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
* Strong writing, editing & proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail
Preferable:
* Content creation experience, preferably in the financial industry / similar
* Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite & Social Media Platforms
* Knowledge of oil swaps market dynamics
* Market research & analysis
* Video production & editing / willingness to learn quickly
