Assistant Commercial Analyst – Norton Canes

To support our Commercial Team we have an opportunity for a full time permanent Assistant Commercial Analyst. You will work within the Finance Team at our Support Office at Norton Canes on the M6 Toll Road.
This role will be responsible for supporting the business by providing insightful analysis which will enable quality decisions at both a commercial and company level.
You will produce robust analysis and reports to enable the Commercial Team to drive the profitability of the business. This will be done through, analysing trends, understanding the underlying performance of our key KPI's and supporting internal growth initiatives
The salary for this position is up to £24,000 depending on experience and will be based at our Support Office at Norton Canes.
Our ideal candidate must have the following:
Ideally have experience in multi-site retail or catering environments
Strong excel & modelling skills
Qlikview experienced would be great
Experience working with big data
Strong planning & organising skills
Confident and able to communicate at all levels
Have a strong analytical, diligent and proactive problem solving approach to work
Your responsibilities:
Work with the commercial team to drive profitability and to support wider brand strategies
Complete pricing modelling for Catering and Retail brands
Conduct detailed commercial analysis including the understanding of external factors while reviewing brand performance
Conduct detailed post completion reviews demonstrating a full understanding of the impact of all marketing and brand initiatives both on the brand and the wider business
Provide commercial analysis for other areas as required (e.g Hotels, HGV parking).
Support the analysis for the annual budget and periodic forecasting processes
Support the business with ad hoc reporting requests using a commercial mindset and ensuring reports are delivered in a timely manner.
