As the role of Assistant Buyer to be based at our offices in Garforth, Leeds. Working in a busy environment and reporting to the Group Buyer, the successful candidate will be responsible for competitively sourcing and co-ordinating the supply of products, materials, plant for construction projects in an efficient and cost-effective manner, maintaining the focus on quality and value and ensuring that resources are provided in accordance with project programmes.
The candidate should be able to build new and develop the existing network of strong relationships with key contacts within our organisation. We are looking for an excellent communicator, someone who is able to negotiate well, knows the value of items, somebody who will fit in and will always go the extra mile.
