Vickers Neal Recruitment Solutions are currently working with Elegant Clutter based at their site in Warwick.
Due to their continued success we have an opening for an experienced Artwork/Vinyl Installer-
Main Purpose of the job:
Installation of various artwork solutions on client’s premises
The ideal candidate will have at least two of the following;
* Building construction background,
* Shop fitting,
* Exhibition stands fitting experience,
* Signage installations including vinyl and wallpaper installations experience or similar.
The successful applicant will work as a part of the team and when required take the lead role during installations, demonstrating both an inspiring and professional attitude at all times It is imperative that you have a very good knowledge of different fixing methods and fixing tools in order to identify appropriate fixtures and fittings and ensure safe aesthetically pleasing installation. You must be prepared to work flexible hours (early mornings, sometimes late evenings) and be able to work well under pressure. Furthermore, it is important to have the ability to understand architectural drawings and floor plans
In your role you will be required to:
* Maintain personal tools and equipment
* Maintain company vehicles as and when required (a clear driving license is essential!)
* Load and unload company vehicles, ensuring goods are well protected at all times
When not on site installing, you will be required to assist with the production, therefore you will get the chance to use your existing/ or learn new carpentry, picture framing or various art/ crafts skills. You will be required to actively promote and ensure that H&S remains priority both on clients and companies’ premises; this includes use of PPE at all times, manual handling techniques, correct use of install equipment including ladders and scaffold etc., general H&S on site. Training will be provided but CSCS, IPAF, PASMA qualifications would be nice to have.
Applications from creative and talented mural artist or people that have passion for art and are not averse to heavy lifting will also be considered, as the necessary fixing training can be provided.
