This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to join an innovative and fast-growing company, playing a vital role in the development and success of the business where you will progress into a Design Manager.
Are you a time-served Electrical Design Engineer? Do you have distribution network experience? Are you looking to progress your career to a managerial position?
This company is an experienced utility connections provider and after securing new contracts, they are ambitious and looking to compete, on a national scale, for the design & installation of new networks to construction sites. Their focus is to provide a leaner and more innovative approach in the way they install and connect new electricity networks to new-build developments.
The role will be to design contestable network solutions, manage the new connections from design to installation and apply for point of connections to local regional electrical companies. Drawing from prior experience, you'll be trusted to innovate new designs to help develop and expand the business' potential.
The successful candidate will be an important part of the company, contributing to the continued success moving forward. The candidate will also be a team player with exceptional customer facing qualities and be aspiring to progress into the design manager role in a relatively short space of time.
The role:
Experience as an Electrical Design Engineer
Managing the new connection from design to installation
Experience with electrical drawing schematics
Have experience with designing building electrical networks
£40,000 – £50,000 + Progression + Flexible Working + 25 Days Holiday
The Person:
Want to be part of an ambitious and fast-growing company
Have distribution network experience either working with or for IDNO's/DNO's
Capable of working autonomously
Good customer facing skills
Want to progress within the company
