POS & Packaging Project Manager

Are you an experienced point of sale (POS) and packaging project manager? Have you worked in a fast-paced design agency environment? Are you a clear and confident communicator? If you answered 'Yes' this role is for you!

A superb independent point-of-sale and packaging design agency who is working with some huge household brands in the FMCG and retail space are seeking an exceptionally organised project manager to join them.

Job purpose summary:
A key aspect of this role will be being able to manage studio resources, Scheduling work to production and design teams to ensure that client projects run on time and in budget.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Production to develop your leadership skills and will be happy to work across multiple brand portfolios. You will be confident in managing client relations and managing expectations. Positivity and communication being paramount whilst adding value through knowledge and experience on all projects. Aiding the HOP in the management, development and growth of the account(s).

• Able to manage complex POS and packaging projects with confidence from briefing to final delivery and to delegate workload
• Confidence in sharing knowledge and skills with others in order to help with their personal development
• Positive, enthusiastic, highly organised and efficient work ethics
• Proactive approach to day-to-day working especially when under pressure
• Ability to problem solve and suggest appropriate solutions with both clients and the wider team independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

Key responsibilities:
• Be an integral part of the business as the person in charge on the account(s) you own
• Quote jobs accurately and brief projects independently using client rate cards
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project cost using appropriate verification techniques
• Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
• Work closely with production artworkers and the Head of Production
• Demonstrate a practical and ‘hands-on’, ‘can-do’ attitude throughout project implementation
• Run new briefings and meetings when required
• Pro-actively seek feedback and critique from colleagues and clients
• Track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals

Required skill sets:
• Knowledge in Adobe CC Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat
• Great knowledge of typography, formatting and visual layout
• Advanced knowledge of POS cutter guides and structures
•Exceptional time and project management skills
• Ability to execute & interpret client brief/feedback as-well-as offer alternative options/solutions
• Ability to constructively feedback and work with production team across multiple projects
• Ability to assess file quality, colour checking and check print ready files
• Microsoft Teams operation – planning and attending meetings and calls
• Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point knowledge
• Fusioo – The Basics, The Everyday Bits, The Advanced Stuff
Experience:
• Minimum 2 years experience working in a design studio
• Minimum 1 year working client facing and maintaining relationships
