Guildford/Hybrid – 3 Days in Studio Per Week
Up to £60,000
Multiplayer Game Designer to join a Bafta winning independent game studio who focus on the design of storytelling and cinematography driven games.
This is a life changing opportunity for an individual who has a passion for enhancing User Interface.
The ideal candidate would have experience as a UI Artist to a senior level within the gaming industry.
Some of what you will be doing:
* Designing superior and engaging UI and motion design content
* Communicating with key stakeholders e.g., Art Director, Game Designer
* Creating production art assets
* Working with a front-end programmer to ensure accurate implementation
* Working towards project timelines in a high-pressure production space
* Collaborating with the art team and other team members.
Ideally, your skills and experience will include:
* 3+ years’ experience as a UI Artist
* A solid portfolio showcasing immersive UI, motion graphic animation and 2D art
* Experience in designing game menus and UI
* Experience in all stages of a project lifecycle for at least one shipped title
* Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite: After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop
* Experience in Game Development
* Experience with UI/UX Software: Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD, Figma
* Experience with User Testing, Style Guides, prototyping processes
* Experience with Unreal Engineer 4
