Experienced Administrator/Finance Assistant

Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £21000 – £24000/annum negotiable

Currently looking for an experienced Administrator/Finance Assistant to join my client, a small business based in Skipton.

You will be responsible for general administration duties, whilst supporting the team with bookkeeping tasks.

You will be based in Skipton, with access to on-site parking. Working hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, however part-time/reduced hours can also be accommodated.

What you'll be doing

Support the Design Project Coordinator with administration tasks
Respond to incoming enquiries
Occasional ordering items for projects, liaising with suppliers of high-end products.
Reviewing systems and processes and making improvements where necessary.
Raising sales invoices when required
Provide absence cover for other members of showroom staff.
Bookkeeping using Xero, processing, matching, coding, and posting of purchase and sales invoices, bank reconciliation (desired)

What you'll need

Previous administration experience
Previous experience working within a finance position or team
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient in Microsoft Office

On offer is a salary between £21,000-£24,000, commensurate of skills and experience.
