Arlington Moore is working on behalf of a prestigious manufacturing company based in the West Yorkshire area. Due to increased workload, they are looking to recruit an Industrial Product Designer or Design Graduate who has worked on product design, to work within their busy product design department, working on design concepts, products and moulds.
This company works with many customers, many of which have a global presence and strong branding. This is an exciting new role where an individual can form a career as well as add value to an already successful organisation. The design role we are recruiting for is working in a prestigious market and the successful Industrial Product Designer will see themselves working on designs for some major global players.
Reporting to the NPD Manager The Industrial Product Designer be responsible for the following;
* Producing design documentation for customers; including sketches or specifications and design drawings
* The creation of designs in several forms
* Production of design documentation for distribution to the customer and for use within the design, sales, planning, production, engineering and quality departments
* Providing technical support to the Sales department
* Producing checks on products as well as moulds
* Attending N.P.D and weekly production meetings and providing information and technical documents
* Attending trade shows and presentations as well as inspiration meetings with global clients
Successful Industrial Product Design candidates should have the following;
* Previous design experience or a relevant design degree, we would also welcome applications from recent design graduates such as industrial design or product design
* 3D Modelling
