Product Designer

General duties to include:
* Product design using PTC Creo
* Organise and build rapid prototype models
* Measure, photograph and detail subject matter
* Issuing information/data for licensor approval of designs
* In conjunction with the technical team ensure product designs comply with required regulations
* Liaising with researcher and licensor to ensure shape approval
* Liaise with the tool engineers during the pre-production stages
* Report on pre-production components
* Support further development stages for example product artwork, assembly instructions and packaging design/artwork
Key Skills and Experience:
* Ability to work well as part of a team
* Willingness to spot and share new and innovative ideas that could be beneficial to the business or brands
* Excellent organisational skills
* Willingness to acquire knowledge on design subject matter
* General computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Effective written and documentation skills
* Ability to work to deadlines
