Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support the learning and development of students in the classroom. Your responsibilities may include assisting with lesson preparation, providing one-on-one support to students, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with children and making a difference in their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities.
Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help with their learning.
Support the social and emotional development of students, promoting positive behaviour and interaction.
Help to create and maintain a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to assess student progress and implement appropriate interventions.
Support students with special educational needs (SEN) as required, under the guidance of the SENCO.Requirements:
Previous experience working with children, either in a school setting or another childcare environment, is desired.
A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards working with children and supporting their learning and development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a dynamic school environment.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning) would be advantageous but not essential.
Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.Benefits:
