We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. As an integral member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of our SEN pupils.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one support to SEN pupils in various classroom settings.
Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Plans.
Support the class teacher in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with other staff members and external professionals to meet the diverse needs of our pupils.
Encourage independence and promote positive social interactions among SEN pupils.Requirements:
Previous experience working with SEN pupils is essential.
Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and understanding of the needs of SEN pupils.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Commitment to promoting equality and inclusion in education.
Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.Benefits:
