To do this they are needing an safe pair of hands on a 3-6 months basis to help them through year end and audit whilst they find the perfect permanent employee to join their team.Our Client

The Role

Assisting in the preparation of financial accounts for the Group in alignment with Charity SORP guidelines, ensuring adherence to specified deadlines.
Overseeing the month-end and period-close processes, including the completion of various reconciliations (such as VAT, bank, payroll, intercompany transactions, among others), journal entries, and reporting obligations.
Managing the Gift Aid procedure and filing claims as needed and compiling and submitting monthly VAT returns, guaranteeing tax compliance, and offering taxation advice as required.
Maintaining accuracy in the fixed asset register by correctly recording disposals and acquisitions, and preparing year-end schedules and reconciliations.
Performing monthly reconciliation and journaling for payroll transactions and producing Group cash flow projections and monitoring cash movement.
Assisting the Management Accountant and Head of Finance through the execution of designated projects and financial systems enhancements.Successful Candidate

Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
Proven financial accounting work experience, including producing VAT returns.
Experience of a variety of computerised accounting systems, ideally Sage and Sage Enterprise Intelligence.Whats on offer?

Umbrella day rate of circa £275 per day
