Mechanical Design Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £45000 – £50000/annum Bonus, Free Parking, Pension
Our client, an established innovative manufacturing company based in Milton Keynes are looking to expand the Design team. The current team structure ensures quality mentoring and coaching, and a chance to actively promote and support product development and expand your working experience.
You must have experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer with a background in Food Processing or similar. You'll work with a wider team of design specialists within Mechanical and Electrical to ensure customer's needs are managed from design conception to installation with the highest level of care.
You must be qualified to a HNC or Degree Level, experience working within Mechanical, Electromechanical, Robotics, automation or food processing and have minimum of five year's design experience.

Responsibilities
Take ownership from design conception to installation
Work to annual budgets and strategic plans to grow company's value
Successfully develop products and solutions in order to meet customers tailored brief
Ensure all products are followed with the relevant health and safety guidelines
Maintain an up-to-date CAD library
Develop and test design modules
Collaborate with suppliers for design improvements and enhancements
Work closely with the Sales Team and
Analyse data and report accordingly Ideal Requirements:
5 Year's experience as an Electronics Design Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer or similar
Proven track record of designing bespoke machinery
Experience working with gearboxes, motor, pneumatic cylinder and bearings into machinery
Solidworks 3D or similar exposure
This role will suit an innovative and determined individual with a dynamic and methodical approach
Product development experience
Experience with trouble shooting and problem solving
Excellent written and verbal communication
Able to work to tight deadlines
Managing multiple large projects simultaneouslyPay
