A Hospitality Interior Design job is now available in West London. The successful candidate will have full involvement in national and international luxury restaurant projects, from concept through to completion. Salary of £36,000 – £42,000.
Currently going through a growth phase with expansion plans into both existing locations and new continents, our client is looking for a technically driven interior designer with strong conceptual and creative abilities to join their team of 15. This is a busy, hands-on role which will suit an experienced designer who is genuinely hard-working and creative and who thrives off working as part of a friendly and collaborative team.
Role & Responsibilities
– Supporting Senior Designers on projects from concept to implementation
– Space planning and production of full technical drawing packs, including joinery, furniture and construction detailing
– Assisting in the delivery of design concepts and creative vision
– Producing visuals and presentations on SketchUp and Adobe Suite
– Developing communication with the design team, contractors, in-house construction and operations team
– Supporting regular site visits to track project progress
– Maintaining good communication & collaboration with FF&E team.
Required Skills & Experience
– 5+ years' experience ideally in F&B/hospitality but residential experience will also be considered
– Good knowledge and understanding of the running and delivery of projects is essential
– Awareness of current style trends as well as the wider restaurant industry
– A good knowledge and understanding of finishes and materials
– Strong interior architecture knowledge and abilities
– A high level of AutoCAD
– Proficiency with SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign) and Microsoft Office
– Freehand sketching abilities.
