Our client are now recruiting for a Mid-weight Creative Designer with 5-8+ years’ experience to join their team.
They're looking for someone enthusiastic, with a passion for design, excellent attention to detail and able to work at a fast pace.
Educated to degree or diploma level.
Our client works on high-end marine interior design projects, liaising with suppliers and working to a client’s needs and aspirations.
Experience in delivering FF&E packages for large-scale commercial projects (e.g. hotels/cruise ships) is essential, as well as impeccable organisational, research and communication skills.
As a Middleweight Interior Designer you would have successfully worked as part of a team from inception to completion for a period of 5-8 years, demonstrating your proven skills at delivering exceptional design with little guidance.
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills
Ability to create and develop conceptual designs including the skill of using colour and texture
Ability to develop plans and visual packages for presentation and visualisation (visuals by external CGI company).
Skills in the Adobe Creative Suite, Vectorworks, Sketchup, Photoshop and InDesign
Knowledge of FF&E selection (materials, finishes, detailing and scheduling)
Experience in using CAD software fluently
Some knowledge of Studio software would be advantageous
Self-confident and receptive to constructive feedback
Ability to manage time and work flow of projects efficiently
Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and visual
Exceptional attention to detail
