We are pleased to be working with a Promotional Products Supplier to recruit for a Creative Artworker. This would be a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate/College leaver that is or has studied Design or someone with little experience in Design looking for that next step in their career.

You will be responsible for creating artwork for approval and setting up artwork to be printed. You will be trained in the printing process, but prior knowledge would be a bonus.

You must be proficient in using the Adobe Creative Suite, mainly focused on Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. You will need to have an exceptional eye for detail and must have the ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure.

Your input may be required to discuss ideas and concepts, and work on larger projects for blue chip customers. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you will be working very closely with the sales team on a daily basis and assisting the Marketing Manager as required. In addition to this you must have good communication skills to liaise with customers and suppliers.

The hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5:30pm, the position is fully-office based in Chesham. The salary for this role is paying up to £22,000.

Candidate Requirements:

Excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is essential.
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop & Adobe InDesign is preferred but not essential.
An eye for detail is essential.
The ability to proof-read your own work for spelling or grammatical errors.
Knowledge of printing processes is not essential but a bonus (you will be trained in the printing process of our products). Duties:

Producing artwork for approval across a range of products.
Producing print ready artwork.
Follow paperwork instructions precisely.
Working closely with the sales team & customer service team.
Liaise with customers and suppliers on artwork matters.
Discuss ideas and concepts for new products.
Take photos of products.
Ensure files are correctly archived.
Provide files internally when requested.
Liaising with the Head of Sales or any Director on larger projects.
