My client is currently expanding and looking to hire a senior design manager, who has previous experience of managing a design department.
In the role of Senior Design Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving my client's creative initiatives, responsible for the day-to-day management of a vibrant design department.
Requirements:
Previous success in a managerial position within a design-focused setting, highlighting effective leadership and team management skills.
In-depth knowledge and proficiency in design principles, coupled with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong organisational skills, whilst being adept at managing multiple projects concurrently without sacrificing quality.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering collaboration and ensuring the transparent communication of ideas among multidisciplinary teams.
Proactive mindset with the ability to swiftly identify and resolve challenges, ensuring the continuous momentum of projects.Responsibilities:
Oversee the leadership and daily operations of a compact team within the design department.
Conduct comprehensive reviews and provide approval for all submissions.
Strategically plan, delegate, and monitor the workload within the design department.
Ensure adherence to set timelines and budgetary constraints in the completion of designs
