Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Salary: Determined by age and any previous experience, based around the National Minimum Wage.
We are a well-established family-run printing company working from the Norwich Airport Industrial Estate.
We have a vacancy for a young person to train in all aspects of our post-press operations.
The Role – Trainee Print Finisher:
You will be involved in the finishing of pre-printed items, whatever the final items are to be.
You will be trained on all the machinery used to do this, including:
Guillotines
Folding Machines
Creasing Machines
Collating Machine
Laminators
Booklet Maker
You will also learn paper handling skills, to align paper, and turn flat sheets into pads and books.
Responsibilities – Trainee Print Finisher:
Checking and putting away incoming goods
Packing and sending out completed jobs.
Person Specification – Trainee Print Finisher:
Being able to use your hands is more important than academic qualifications.
Must be punctual and reliable.
Dependable.
Able to work tight deadlines.
Keen to learn new skills.
Team Player.
Hands On.
Adaptable.
Proactive with an eye for detail.
Confident handling machinery.
