Are you a Graduate qualified in Architecture / Architectural Technology seeking an opportunity in the West Midlands? If you are qualified in a relevant Architectural subject and have a clear passion for pursuing a career within Revit then please consider this role of Project Designer.

My Client is a specialist within the construction sector, designing, engineering and manufacturing a diverse range of engineered facade and roofing systems tailored to the architectural sector. With in-house design, engineering and testing capabilities they are able to ensure their products are at the forefront of technical performance for Clients.

As a Project Designer you will be welcomed into their specialist SFS Department and will work with a Team of Architectural professionals who are responsible for the design / detailing of their SFS projects. You will be required to manipulate and utilise Revit to produce the required construction drawings and details for projects set across the construction sector. Appreciative that this maybe your first professional role within the industry plenty of support and in-house guidance will be provided to ensure you are well supported in development as a Project Designer.

As you develop and progress with your skills you can expect to partake in the following roles / responsibilities:

Maintain and generate drawings (plans, sections, elevations) providing bespoke and standard details within the pack
Interpretation of architect's and structural engineer's drawings
Understanding the scope of works and interpret the Client's design requirements
Incorporation of comments as required (internal / external)
Filing comments, drawings and documents received from internal / external
Issue drawings to Client via portal uploads
Liaising with all relevant project design team members (internal and external)
Attend Design Team Meetings
Work on multiple projects and inform Client's of progression
Collaborating on projects alongside other team members
Planning and organising tasks and projectsAs a Graduate you will be qualified with a relevant Architectural degree and ideally have utilised Revit during your studies. You will be technically minded with a good eye for detail and an understanding of the basic principals of architecture and construction. You will be thorough in your work and have excellent problem solving skills. As you develop with your skills you will be able to utiliste you strong organisation skills to ensure you work in a timely manner, managing your workload effectively and progressing with projects as required.
