We're currently on the lookout for an Account Director to join an award-winning creative marketing agency, renowned for its dynamic team and innovative approach. This agency firmly believes in workplace equality, diversity, and inclusion. Now, they are seeking a commercially astute and strategic communicator to take on the role of Account Director. In this position, you'll be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of integrated campaigns, primarily within the property sector.
Collaborating closely with senior directors, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the agency's growth plan. This involves leading a key account and providing mentorship to team members. The agency is specifically looking for an individual with a minimum of five years' agency experience who aligns with their company values and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversight of a key client or a portfolio of smaller clients
Ensuring timely service delivery
Resolving issues to enhance and maintain customer trust
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Demonstrated ability to lead productive teams, ensuring outstanding results and efficiency
Providing strategic counsel to clients and account teams
Adding value to account teams through innovation
Taking overall responsibility for clients' strategic plans and budgets
Developing and drafting new business proposals
Leading conceptual campaign briefs and contributing to creative direction
Conducting monthly 1-2-1s with assigned team members
Attending bi-annual performance reviews, preparing staff development plans, and advising on staff training requirements
Prioritizing well-being and team development by supporting junior team members to grow in confidence and nurture their skillset
Inspirational leadership with strong motivational skills and a positive, passionate attitude
Building and maintaining strong relationships, being regarded as a go-to person by clients and colleagues
Motivated and ambitious, fully committed to the agency's vision and goals
Bringing creativity, strategic thinking, and a unique set of skills to the team
Experience Required:
* A minimum of 5 years' relevant creative agency experience
* Solid understanding of budgeting and progress reporting
* Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and metrics
* Working knowledge of MS Office
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with aptitude in fostering long-term relationships
* Outstanding organizational and leadership skills, including managing and mentoring direct reports
Preferred, but not Essential:
* Exposure to the property or related sectors
